These splitters are heavy duty and VERY sharp. They work with any drill that has a half inch chuck. You must use them correctly or you will find your splitter stuck in the wood. Then you have to break out the channel locks to unscrew it. I learned the hard way! But I like the product and recommend it to anyone who is tired of the hammer and splitter or the axe.

This looked like a great concept and after looking into it I decided to give it a shot. At first I tried it using a Milwaukee 18v drill which is how the description shows as working great. Well, it was a complete epic fail. It couldn't get through anything and just got stuck in the log. This is stupid. Then an idea. I have a Milwaukee 1/2" cordless impact that there isn't a whole lot that will stop it. I used a socket that fit the shank and went to town. NOW, we have a five star item. It just powers through any and everything. Use the right tool behind this and you've got a very useful tool. 👍🏻
